PROVO, Utah โ Moses Wagner had a match-high 13 kills, but No. 12 Stanford fell at No. 7 BYU, 25-15, 25-19, 25-23, Thursday, at Smith Fieldhouse.
The Cardinal (9-11, 2-5 MPSF) hit .280 as a team, totaling 36 kills, 17 digs and 7.0 blocks. BYU (16-7, 4-3) posted a .400 attack percentage as a team and tallied four aces.

Wagner's 13 kills came on a .391 attack percentage as the opposite also registered three digs and a block. Outside hitter Theo Snoey chipped in with 10 kills but was held to .167 hitting.
Setter Theoren Brouillette dished out 32 assists and matched his career-high with four blocks. Freshmen liberos Evan Porter and Kai Schmitt combined for five digs.

The Cardinal came out flat to start the match, hitting just .111 and siding out at 54 percent in the opening set, and just 59 percent for the match.
Sophomore Nate Clinton had six kills, a dig and two blocks in two sets off the bench. Middle blocker Luke McFall was 4-0-5 (.800) offensively, while freshman Kaumana Carreira had two kills and three blocks in two sets played. Freshman Reed Wainwright replaced Carreira in the third and notched three blocks and a kill.

BYU was led by its outside hitters Luke Benson and Miks Ramanis, who each recorded 12 kills. Benson hit .350 and had six digs and two blocks, while Ramanis turned in a .450 clip to go with an ace, a block, a dig and an assist.
